Virtual Activity
This activity focuses on enhancing education by integrating AI tools and fostering creativity, collaboration, and personalized learning. Teachers and students engage in a three-day online event to present projects created with AI tools, discuss challenges, and provide feedback. The first two days are dedicated to student presentations, and the third day is for teachers to collaborate and refine teaching methods.
The activity benefits 15 trained teachers, 15 additional teachers, and approximately 250 students, including those with mild learning disabilities and students from immigrant or refugee backgrounds. Teachers gain insights into adaptive teaching strategies and collaborative course development using AI tools. Students enhance creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills while receiving tailored support for their learning needs.
Expected outcomes include improved writing skills, increased confidence, ethical AI use, and better support for diverse learners. The activity fosters social inclusion and equips both teachers and students with skills for the digital age, advancing the project’s goals of innovation, inclusion, and responsible AI integration in education.

Back in class, students put their learning into practice. They experiment with AI-powered tools like:
● ChatGPT for scripting and brainstorming ideas
● Gencraft for generating digital illustrations
● Audacity for recording audio narration
● Filmora and other video editors for assembling content using green screen and layering techniques
This activity emphasizes the importance of ethical AI use—students follow clear rules for age-appropriate, respectful, and safe use of AI technologies while producing original content.
As a foundation for their next activity, students use these tools to begin planning their identity texts and video productions, combining digital creativity with social awareness.
